Renewable Energy Fund

Golden Water Renewable Energy Limited Partnership is a New Zealand limited partnership established for eligible wholesale investors.

The Fund is intended to invest in New Zealand renewable energy and low-emission infrastructure opportunities, including projects and businesses that support renewable generation, electrification, energy resilience and sustainable mobility.

Target sectors include solar generation, commercial rooftop solar PV systems, ground-mounted solar projects, ready-to-build solar projects, EV charging infrastructure, battery storage systems and related low-emission mobility infrastructure.

The General Partner and Manager is Golden Water GP Limited.

Investment Approach

Golden Water intends to assess each opportunity by reference to commercial feasibility, project stage, expected cashflow profile, security or contractual protection, counterparty quality, regulatory position, operational risk, exit pathway and potential New Zealand contribution.

Fund Structure and Investor Eligibility

The Fund is structured as a New Zealand limited partnership. Investors participate as limited partners and do not take part in the management or operation of the Fund.

All investors are subject to wholesale investor eligibility checks, AML/CFT checks, source of funds and source of wealth checks, and completion of fund documentation.
