AIP Overview
New Zealand’s Active Investor Plus Visa is for experienced investors who can invest significant capital into acceptable investments in New Zealand.
For the Growth Category, Immigration New Zealand currently requires at least NZD $5 million to be maintained in acceptable investments in New Zealand for 36 months.
Growth Category investments may include managed funds and direct investments, where the relevant investment is acceptable for Active Investor Plus purposes.

Golden Water Renewable Energy Limited Partnership is a New Zealand limited partnership structured as a managed fund for wholesale investors only. It is intended to seek assessment for inclusion as an acceptable Growth Category managed fund, focused on New Zealand renewable energy and low-emission infrastructure opportunities.
Any AIP use of the Fund is subject to inclusion on Invest New Zealand’s Acceptable Managed Funds List at the relevant time, investor eligibility, fund documentation, AML/CFT, source of funds and source of wealth checks, and all applicable Immigration New Zealand and Invest New Zealand requirements.

Confirm wholesale investor status (the Fund is available to wholesale investors only), AML/CFT information, source of funds and source of wealth.
Confirm whether the Fund is on Invest New Zealand’s Acceptable Managed Funds List at the relevant time.
Follow Immigration New Zealand’s transfer, investment and evidence requirements.
